Our Mission

We are a ‘Come as You Are’ church. No matter what your background, your life circumstances. What you may be going through now, or how far you may have drifted away from your relationship with God.

We strive to make everyone feel loved and welcomed, and at home by creating a real loving environment that acts as a safe place for people to find God and to grow close to God.

We are a church for all. For those from more formal church backgrounds who are seeking a less formal worship

atmosphere, and for those who may have felt unwelcome or out of place in some other church settings. Here, you become family.

We are a non-denominational Holy Spirit filled and led church. Bible believing and Bible teaching. Our mission is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.

Sunday: Breakfast and fellowship: 9 AM - 10:15

Our Sunday services begins at 10:30

Wednesday night prayer and the Word at 6 - 7 PM

What kind of church is Ridge City Church? >

We are a non-denominational, Bible believing, Bible teaching church. We are a Holy Spirit filled and led church.

We have a strong ministry emphasis on the addiction recovery community in our area. And we welcome all, regardless of background, social, racial, or economic status.

Our praise and worship music style is best described as 'contemporary' in line with our informal culture.

Is there a dress code for attending Ridge City Church? >

No, there is no dress code. We welcome you to come as you are.

We welcome all, regardless of your life circumstances.

What kind of programs do you have for children? >

We have classes for children nursery up through thirteen year olds.

Do you have programs for men and women? >

BRO, our men's group meets the 1st and 3rd Saturday morning at the church at 9 AM.

BRO also meets on Monday evenings at the same time the women meet. But separately. 7 PM at the church.

WOW 'Women of Worth' is our ladies' group meeting on Monday nights at 7 PM

Next Step, our outreach ministry to the addiction recovery community meets every Tuesday evening at our downtown location.

Notes on Some of The Ministries at RCC

WOW Women's Ministry

Ridge City Church hosts a vibrant women's ministry. Titled "WOW" meaning, "Women of Worth" Fellowship and a Bible study and sharing time, vital to meet the needs of women.

Monday nights at 7 PM at the church.

The last Monday night of the month is Birthday celebration and fellowship. The group will be celebrating the birthdays of any of their group who's birthday fell in that month. Other than a short devotion, there will not be a Bible study that night. It is a time for fellowship.

BRO RCC Men's Ministry

BRO is the men's ministry at Ridge City Church.

BRO meets the 1st and 3rd Saturday morning of each month at 9 AM at the church. We offer a light breakfast snack and coffee.

This is a time of fellowship, connection, and sharing. Also a time of Bible study or devotional discussion intended to meet the needs men experience.

The men's group also meets on Monday evenings at the same time the ladies meet. But separately from the ladies meeting. Our meeting time consists of a biblically based study intended to meet the needs of men as we strive to be the men God intended us to be.

Prov 27:17 says: As iron sharpens iron,

so one man sharpens another.

Next Step -Our Ministry to the Addiction Recovery Community

Next Step is our outreach ministry to the addiction recovery community. Next Step will start soon and will meet on Tuesday evenings.

Beginning with dinner, then a time of fellowship followed by anointed praise and worship with music intended to be both uplifting and offering praise to God.

Then the Word is presented. Testimonies of how God has changed the lives of others, showing that He can change your life too. You too can be made whole, and free from the bondage of addiction.

Pastors Charles and Susie Rudder along with their team are doing a great job getting Next Step up and running. And we support them at every step of the way.

Next Step services are held at 205 Pruett St. Paragould, AR. Tuesday nights. Dinner at 5:30 PM Worship service at 6:30 PM

What we believe about God >

There is only one true God, and He is revealed in three persons through what is commonly known as the Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

What we believe about Jesus >

As God’s son, Jesus came to earth both fully human and fully divine.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal son of God.

What we believe about the Holy Spirit >

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

Just as in New Testament days, the empowerment of the Holy Spirit enables believers to be witnesses and effective servants.

We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers us today just as in New Testament times. He (the Holy Spirit) is the promised Counselor, Comforter, the convictor of sin, the One who points us to Jesus, and gives us the power and boldness to be Christ's witnesses to bring the message of the Gospel to the world.

What we believe about the Trinity

God is both One and Triune. The Biblical revelation testifies that there is only one God, and that He is eternally existent in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. .

What we believe about the Bible >

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

The Scriptures are inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind.

Ordances of the Church >

We practice two ordinances—(1) Water baptism by immersion after repenting of one’s sins and receiving Christ’s gift of salvation, and (2) Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death for our salvation.

Water baptism by immersion, which occurs after a person has repented of his sins and received the gift of salvation, is a symbolic declaration that a believer has died with Christ and has been raised from that death to live a new life in Christ.

What we believe about Salvation >

We believe In the free gift of salvation, God offers every person the opportunity for restored fellowship with Him through accepting Christ’s offer of forgiveness for sin.

Though originally good, Man willingly fell to sin–ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world. Genesis 1:26-27 // Genesis 2:17 // Genesis 3:6 // Romans 5:12-19

Every person can have restored fellowship with God through salvation (accepting Christ’s offer of forgiveness for sin). Luke 24:47 // John 3:3 // Romans 10:13-15 // Ephesians 2:8 // Titus 2:11 // Titus 3:5-7

What we believe about sin >

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

Sin is separation from God. Although man was created in God’s image, man willingly fell to sin, which introduced evil and death – both physical and spiritual – into the world.

What we believe about eternal life >

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

The Bible tells us, "it is appointed unto man, once to die, and after that, the judgement. We will, after this life, spend eternity either with Him or not with Him. We are free to make that choice, but there is only one choice which offers eternal life. The other is not a choice to be desired.

The Apostle Paul said, "To be absent from the body is to be present with Christ. That is the Blessed Hope of the Believer.

What we believe about the Church >

We believe that the church – both locally and globally – is a community of fellow believers that exists to equip the saints for works of service and to share the gospel message with every nation, tribe, people and language.

The church, as a community of believers should operate aa a family. Loving each other, lifting each other up in prayer and spiritual support and in other ways as is our loving duty to our fellow believers.

What we believe about Grace >

We cannot earn our salvation. There is nothing we can do to deserve it. There is nothing we can do to make us "good enough" in God's sight to make Him want to accept us as sons and daughters in His kingdom.

That's not what it's all about. It's all about His love for us. And His Grace.

The common definition of Grace being, "unmerited favor." What we don't deserve, that is His salvation, He freely gave. What we do deserve, His mercy saved us from,
